Raised in both Harlem and Spanish Harlem, Manhattan. Stealth first fell in love with djing watching his older brother MC along his best friend who would DJ.
Although he had a love for the turntables, it was watching some of his influences that really got him "The Bug". Guys like DJ Skribble back when he was on HOT97 With Ed Lover & Dr. Dre. Guys like DJ Red Alert who's Old School sets are ones he constantly tries to measure up to. DJ's like Kid Capri & DJ Jazzy Jeff who are known to rock a party and of course the one and only Jam Master Jay. These are just a few of the people that gave influence to his goal.
Stealth's experience with Djing elevated when he attended Marymount Manhattan College. It was here at "The Mount" where his love for the 1's & 2's would begin. In 1998 he joint the college's internet radio station(WMMC) and watching his fellow students cut and scratch on the wheels of steel which made Stealth want to perfect his craft as much as possible. Hours a day he would practice, constantly making tapes and asking for critique. His brother who was a great supporter was also his harshest critic this was the best thing that could happen to him because he knew he could depend on him for the honest truth about his skills. These were the years that would define whether this was a hobby or a true passion.
He started off doing small events for the college fund raisers for the radio station, school parties, that of course as almost every dj has done before. He did the local parties as long as the equipment could get in the apartment he was there. With time he elevated from the small house parties to larger events such as block parties and more. Now Stealth has done venues ranging from bars and lounges to 3 level Nightclubs running up & down the east coast from right here in New York all the way down to the sunshine state of Florida.
Continually on the grind to always get better you can only expect to hear even more from DJ Stealth as his quest to take over the Club Scene continues on. Venues I've Rocked Include:
