Livin' and Lovin' it!

About Me

I think most would agree, I'm all about having fun. Whether it be dancing with friends in a club, walking on a beach, hiking a mountain, teaching a class, playing volleyball, flirting, traveling, talking, pretending I can sing---it doesn't really matter. I find joy is just about everything, especially when it involves spending time with friends. I rarely slow down and I live just about every second of every day of my life--don't know what it means to be bored. Still, I know how to relax. Chocolate, candles, wine, strawberries, a bath, music, a good book, a fireplace, spiced tea in the fall, pina coladas in the summer--IT'S ALL GOOD!!!

My Interests

People, volleyball, cooking, reading, running, talking, dancing, Broadway shows, beaches, sun, food, fun, travel, friends, psychology, philosophy, hiking, New York City, men, shopping, parties--ya, so everything!

I'd like to meet:

For friends, just about everyone--I find people absolutely fascinating. I guess that's why I became a teacher. I love listening to people and hearing their stories just as much as I love to share my own. My favorites are those few who are left awake after everyone else at the party has already gone to sleep--The survivors, the rock stars!!! For romance, someone who can show me that sanity still exists, childhood dreams were not in vain, committment is rewarding, and humor is essential. Secretly, I still dream of prince charming, but he could ride in on a moped for all I care...

Music:

Cheesy Pop, Beyonce's the bomb, Hip Hop, Dance Club, Broadway, Barbara/Judy--anything I can sing to in my car!

Movies:

Chicago, Mighty Wind, LOTRs, Harry Potter, Color Purple, Shawshank, Steel Magnolias (so gay), Pulp Fiction, any other movie with a "Hoosiers" theme!

Television:

Heroes:

Teachers who are good and last, people who push the envelope to pave the way for others, people who make it when everything around them suggests they will fail...
