Moontrees:
"A trip to the moon..."
1971: The Astronaut Stuart Roosa, back from the Apollo XIV mission, brought on earth Sycamore seeds he had taken with him in his journey to the moon. Trees born from theses seeds turned out to be very similar to any other trees on earth, except that they had a weird route
Summer 2003: Two neighbours composed songs on their terrace. They found them nice sounding. They recorded and sent them on a French Radio without beliefs 15 days later, the first Moontrees tunes had been broadcasted all over France.
Quite a well chosen name! When listening to their first CD, you would indeed wonder if these guys had also a back ticket to the Moon to bring back a sound so spatial and special. Waves of guitars full of reverbs and choruses give their music an ethereal dimension.
