Ronan Fitzgerald is a 24 year old former teacher/singer/songwriter/guitarist/bassist/drummer. Hailing originally from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland, Ronan started playing guitar at 13, with no intention of singing. He got in on singing when he started writing his own songs and realised that singers got more birds. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Venturing to college at University College Dublin, Ronan fronted the renowned trio known as 'The Communist Monkeys of Ecuador' at UCD's celebrated Open Mic Night, playing crowd pleasers such as the legendary 'Eminem Made Me Do It', as well as storming renditions of The Pixies' 'Where Is My Mind?' and Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters'.
