It all started when Aymar Middendorp (vocal) and Valeo Geerman (Guitar)
formed an acoustic duo in November 2003. Gustavo Bremo and Robert Geerman agreed to join the band afterwards, as the bassist and drummer.
The band felt another instrument was needed to vary the music, so finally Mark Schilder joined up as the keyboardist.
October 2004 marked an important milestone in the history of Cueback, as they won The Battle Of The Bands 2004, a local band competition. In doing so, the motivation to create new music and expand their musical horizons grew greatly.
In 2005 Cueback began working on their first album recording "Game Over", "Crouching Waves" and "Drowning". Game Over was chosen as the first single and is on rotation at local radio stations.
The later half of 2005 saw many line-up changes beginning with Robert, as he decided to leave the band, soon replaced by Naim.
Later that year Mark and Gustavo temporarily left as well, leaving the island of Aruba to pursue their studies in Holland. They were replaced by Kimmy and Riguad.
Finally Howard Seraus was added as second guitarist.
In July 2006 Valeo and Aymar left to Holland for their studies, joining the rest of the band.
Now that the founding members are back together again, the future looks bright. Who knows what might become of this band?
