Music video for 'October Tune'
Biography
Is there a mininum age for rock 'n roll? If you think so, Only Seven Left will prove you wrong. Five young
blokes from The Netherlands are ready to play their catchy and groovy songs for you and the entire
world!
Only Seven Left has been compared to Jonas Brothers and McFly, but their main inspirations are
serious rockbands like Jack's Mannequin, the Spill Canvas and Something Corporate. Piano is the most important ingredient for the
songs - together with poetic lyrics and sweet melodies.
The band recorded their first cd, called 'Forever Is A Lie' in 2006. It was released by the Dutch indie label
Stuck In A Day Records and the reactions of the press were overwhelming. Well known magazine LiveXS
chose Only Seven Left to be 'Local Hero' and the largest national radio station 3FM labelled the band
'Serious Talent'.
In 2007 girls magazine Tina asked the band to play on their annual festival, so Only Seven Left got to
perform their songs in front of 10.000 screaming girls. The band also played on national television for
Villa Live, a popular show by VPRO on Sunday morning.
In 2008 Only Seven Left released their single 'Turbulence', along with a critically acclaimed music video
that has been watched over 10.000 times on the internet. The single was launched in the 'Bijenkorf', a
well-known warehouse in Amsterdam.
Despite their average age of 18, Only Seven Left has gained enough on-stage experience in famous
venues like Paradiso and the Melkweg (Amsterdam) to entertain a large crowd. Come and see for
yourself: sing along, dance, or just sit and listen... Just don't miss your chance to see this fresh new rock
sensation in action!
