About Me

I run a business as a fashion stylist/personal shopper (www.bellastyles.net). I started this business because of all the compliments I would receive from everyday people on my attire. In my spare time I read all the latest fashion and entertainment magazines (ex. WWD, Vogue, Vibe Vixen, Essence, People, Elle, etc.) and I keep up with all the Fashion Week tent shows every season. I hope to one day become a famous celebrity fashion stylist. I have already had the pleasure of styling up and coming models and musicians as well as doing work with author Nikki Turner ("A Hustler's Wife") for her April 2007 Ebony Magazine Photo Shoot. I was a judge at the Miss Full-Figured Metropolitan Competition in Columbia, Maryland in November 2007. I was also featured in the January 2008 issue of Richmond magazine and more recently I was a guest seminar speaker at the "Sister for Sister" Conference in Richmond, Virginia. I don't just focus on plus size apparel either. I do kids styling, men's fashion,image consulting, personal shopping, photo shoots, home decorating and party planning. I work with models, photographers and fashion show events. Currently, I submit blogs & articles on plus size fashion and celebrity news for Skorchstyle.
