The package comes in the mail. You open it up. You see the shoes you were dying for. You probably try them on. You might make a pick up post. You feel complete. But what happens one week later? You're back on Ebay looking for something else. And what happens 4 months later? Those shoes that you were dying for 4 months back are sitting collecting dust in your closet. Altitudes or Melo II's anyone?
So what makes one satisfied? Is the actual acquisition of the shoe? No. Is it the comfort? No. Breaking necks? Maybe at one level, but ultimately, No. What is it then?
It's the INFORMATION. That's the life blood of this shoe game. When you have the information, you can settle down. You don't have to buy the shoe to feel complete. Because - you know. A dude will walk through the mall and snap necks left and right but he won't really phase you because - you know. You know when they were released. You know where they were released. You know how much was retail. You know how much is e-tail. You know how many pairs exists. You know the story. And THAT my friends... is what makes it complete. The INFORMATION.
inform yourself:
What we have here is a place of fellowship, competition; a society if you will, that allows sneaker connoisseurs (not just consumers) to express their selves. If you have a "fresh pair" and you want to share them with the world post a pic. If you have some info on a "fresh pair" post a comment. If you think you can make somebody "step they foot game up" post a pic and a comment. We promote freshness....and we do recognize real...so be warned. If you misrepresent on this page you will be put ON FULL BLAST. Its not to riducule or to exile but to educate and hopefully learn you a lesson.
