"I am excited about God's new beginnings in 2008! After some "waiting time" in 2007, & despite many dangers seen & unseen in 2006, GOD HAS BEEN UM GOOD!(Thnx Smokie)! But now...THIS IS IT! (Thnx Kirk)!Spreading the Gospel of Jesus has become my passion. Because of the journey God has brought me through thus far I am humbled that He chooses me and I understand how crucial the seed of Salvation is to a soul. In due season, that seed came alive in me and I am a New Creature in Christ! Now, I must be diligent, passionate, and steadfast in being a vessel through which God can plant that seed in others! When you've been blessed...pass it on!"........................................................ .............................Stephanie is a singer/songwriter originally from Indianapolis, IN. It was there that she began her musical journey singing in church at the age of 7. As time progressed, she began singing in area talent shows where she received many awards and opportunities. At the age of 16, she began performing in night clubs and other secular venues with a local band. At 18 Stephanie won a semi-final spot in a national singing contest "Natalie Cole's Big Break" where she was noticed by several record executives. After that experience, she was blessed to work with many of Indianapolis' finest singers and musicians! She traveled with an Indianapolis based theatre company throughout the U.S. and Europe. Next, she attended Kentucky State University where she performed and traveled with 3 choirs with many of the most talented performers in the country. During that time, Stephanie also traveled to New York where she recorded and performed "house" music with a major label and worked with the top producers of that genre. These recordings were released in Europe as well. It was during this experience that Stephanie developed a strong love for writing, arranging, and studio production. After graduating and later completing a Masters degree, Stephanie moved to Atlanta where she sang background for local artists and further developed her skills as a writer. Stephanie records this journey not as a resume of accolades, but simply to show that God can and will bring those whom He has chosen back full circle to His calling and purpose. Currently, Stephanie resides in Charlotte, NC where she and her husband Sean own Stevenson And Associates, an Internet Marketing company. They proudly attend New Birth-Charlotte under the profound leadership and anointing of Pastor & 1st Lady Terrell L. Murphy. Stephanie is eagerly looking forward to submitting to the leadership and anointing of New Birth's Worship Arts Ministry later this year as she continues to commit to the corporate body's mission to advance the Kingdom. Stephanie is currently writing for herself as well as other musicians and psalmists. As the Holy Spirit interprets the letters of her heart, Stephanie's prayer and desire is that the messages revealed will convey and relate to others the purity of a great love story...the love between a King and His daughter. Her trials mixed with His triumph, Her pain healed by His Purpose, and Her losses won by His Love! Stephanie is looking forward to all God has in store for her Ministry Gift! This year and forevermore, WE'RE TAKING BACK WHAT THE DEVIL HAS STOLEN!
