Joseph Dinnan (guitar, vocals, piano), Robert Turner (bass, vocals) and Dean Giotes (drums), all seasoned musicians, formed gada.
They formed the trio in the old gold mining mountains near Sacramento.
Basic tracks were laid down in Athens, Georgia.
Then they went to London, England, to mix it.
Gada is the Navajo word for 'dirt', a reference to Mother Earth.
