"HISTORIC LTD CONCERT"On Saturday January 19th 2008, in the City of Long Beach, California, I saw something that was nothing short of a spiritual event. It was the culmination of a parade and festivities celebrating the message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In a park bearing his name, a group of men, who had disbanded twenty five years ago, who had lost their lead vocalist, once again came together with one voice, one rhythm and LTD took the stage with the chant "When We Party, We Party Hearty" and from that moment on the audience who was already up on their feet was in the palm of their hands for the rest of the show. It was, of course obvious that the brother singing lead wasn't Jeffrey Osborne. The evidence of the strenght of their spirit and connection was that you didn't miss him! And that my friends, is very powerful!These brothers effortlessly went through their classic hits: Love Ballad, Back in Love, Holdin' On, with a passion that clearly stated, they are back, and right now.
