"Footloose and funkFootloose funky-free!!!"
The motto of the band already describes a lot about Sub Divine… With a powerful voice, drifty rhythms and loads of groove, Kathrin, Jörg, René und Jonas are aiming at a common goal: Making the audience dance! At the end of 2004 - after some years of gathering experience in different local bands - it was time for the 4 musicians to get together to join their different preferences. Influences as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Incubus or Jamiroquai are merged into their own style, which they named Funky Crossover Rock: Alternative-Rock with elements from Funk, Soul and sometimes a dash of Salsa, HipHop or Jazz. This mixture works and they love to prove it live on stage over and over again. In the year 2008 they are once again on their mission: to bring the Funky Crossover Rock to the people. In January the band has finally recorded their first EP „Break Loose“ to get their unique mix on a CD and to provide the funkiness to every home...
