About Me

Hey Folks, we're The Green Rock River Band. A folk band from London Town. I guess our goal is to show people a good time through the medium of Banjo, Fiddle, Mandolin, Dobro and Geetar, if you've laugh, clapped, and enjoyed our live set well thats what we've set out to do. Thanks for checking out our little space here and listening to two or three of the tunes. We plan to be back in the Studio Febuary/March time 2008. Until then we have an EP going for £5 Let us know if you want one. All of your comments are welcome, we love hearing feedback, funny stories from our shows etc so don't be shy. We run a small folk club in Kingston, if you want to play and can bring a small crowd with you let us know and we can arrange something. Thanks, the Green Rocksxx now for some quotes................"Your songs are very historical and authentic sounding with a deliverance equally suitable to their sound. The band has a very old fashioned feeling that really catches the senses". - Bob Cheevers Grammy and Emmy Award Winner (and all round Southern Gentlemen)"I love the timber story-telling nature of his voice, I love the material. I listen to music constantly and for this to stand out for me is wonderful"- A & R Music Publishers,California_______________________________________ ___________________________________________________--------- -----------------
