I am so uncool, I left this bit blank for ages, because I like really uncool things, like doing Open University, Dr Who, listening to Radio 4, knitting, sci-fi & zombie films, lots of films with subtitles, reading, researching and writing (current topic, strange seaside freakshow style attractions of bygone days), any film with a midget in it, painting (badly), making my own clothes (badly), trying to grow my own veggies (crop of two tasty miniature carrots and several dead plants), bad jokes which no-one else laughs at, learning to play ukulele, baking cakes, drinking with mates (and making them wear fake mustaches for my own amusement), anything kitsch, my collection of things in the shape of fruit which are also other things (for example banana maracas or pineapple shaped ice buckets) Oh and I play theremin so if you need some sci-fi sounds I'm your gal - also now motoring in my electric wheelchair -the pirate mobile!
only the most decedent and elegant, darling

Its crap really, isn't it? (telly I mean), but I watch it any way. I don't like "commitment" shows like The Sopranos, where by watching an episode you are commiting to a whole series and every whatever night you have to watch, no matter what the weather. I got commitment TV fatigue after Buffy finished (its like leaving abook half read, it just isn't right not to watch to the end, so now I like to judge whether its worth my time - for example Desperate Housewives and Plastic Surgery Live aren't worth my time). I have made an exception for Dr Who, The Mighty Boosh, The League of Gentlemen, Miss Marple (its a childhood thing).
