Finding ways to advance my life, my career, and my relationship with God. Spending time with my friends and family. Taking my dogs for long walks. Singing and listening to music. Playing golf (or maybe just hitting a few on a Sat. morning at the driving range) as well as playing pool. Reading (lately I find I'm enjoying it more, especially my bible). Running and working out. I'm currently working as a teacher and coaching the soccer team while I get my Masters Degree at UTEP and get myslef into dental or medical school.
People with similar interests. If you don't share any of my interests, hobbies, beliefs or viewpoints, then hopefully we can at least crack each other up!
Man! Where do I begin? Almost everything, except I can't stand rap! Sorry if that offends you. I love Country, Western, Bluegrass, Jazz, Classic Rock, Gospel, Christian music, Classical, you name it! But I do have to say that my ab fab is Christian music. It lifts me up, encourages me, and reminds me of who I am. Lately, I've found myself listening to a lot of Jerry Douglas, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, The Allman Bros., Union Station, and of course Alison Krauss.
My two favorite movies in the world are Sense and Sensibility and Pride and Prejudice. Those are pretty much the ONLY 2 chick flicks I like. I'm basically a tom-boy when it comes to all other movies. I LOVE movies with action, guns, flying ammo, bloody fight scenes, explosions, etc. etc. Oh, and I also love comedies. Especially Woody Allen movies! Love'em! The last movie that really cracked me was Nacho Libre. (Yes, cracked me...)
Lately when I have time I seem to pretty much watch the same stuff (I record shows on my DVR). The Office, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, Dr. 90210, The Colbert Report, Hannity & Colmes, Oprah once in a while when she doesn't have freaks like Tom Cruise on, and to be honest, lately I've been watching a lot of Christian T.V. It's a breath of fresh air, to actually learn something that will better your life instead of killing your brain cells.
Right now I'm reading: Your Best Life Now by Joel Osteen and Woman Thou Art Loosed by T.D. Jakes. Books I just can't live without: My Bible, The Dictionary, and the phone book! LOL!
My beautiful and wonderful Jesus! My mom, my dad (he's a genius), my little brother Fabian (I sure do admire him, check out his web site at americanfinefinishing.com), my pastors Charles and Rochelle Neiman, T. D. Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Joel Osteen, Mario Murillo, Tim Storey, etc. etc. The list is endless. There's basically something to learn from EVERYONE.
