Bands: Sorry, we cannot help with shows currently. we are not playing any longer.
Serotonin played from 1996-2002. The last time we were together as a band was in march 2003 to mix 'Future Anterior.' The hiatus was due to a permanent wrist injury of drummer jim, so no shows have happened. If that changes you'll see it here... but this's all for now. check out Hostages .
Bifocal Media of NC released a new CD released in January 04, called 'Future Anterior.' It contains five songs recorded in Chicago, at the great Electrical Audio by Russ Arbuthnot, staff engineer and former Murfreesboro roomate of Andrew and Ryan.
The new CD also contains two edited live videos and video of an unreleased song, 'Xs for Eyes,' filmed at illustrious CBGB's, in quicktime format.
We have a lot of material available, two full-length records and two EPs. They are collected and convenient in CD form, and piecemeal and scattered in vinyl form... check out: lumberjack, bifocalmedia.com, very distro, insound.com, interpunk.com, a ton of other places i have never heard of that you have. Also check stores in the physical world.
**Do not buy Future Anterior from anyone selling it for more that $12. It is an EP. Instead, hold it in front of the counter-person's face, and punch them through the cd.
There will eventually may be a Serotonin collection of things you've probably never heard, unless you were one of the 500 people that bought any number of comps that we were on before the full-lengths started coming. Old school Serotonin when Ryan Snyder was in the band, if that is your thing. If luck is on our side, we will find our demos of songs that were never recorded in any other fashion. if luck is further on our side, we will be able record 3-5 newer songs that haven't made it to tape yet. newest school serotonin, if that's your thing. If my stupid fucking wrist ever heals.

site updates

I'm going to make an attempt to add all of our shows from 1996-2002 to this site, for my own amusement if nothing else.  It could be quite a task.  I've got all the shows from 1996-1999 writ...

For any who don't know, the reason Serotonin has not played in 1.5 years is because the drummer's (me, jim) R wrist got really fucked up and i went to Vanderbilt where they sawed and plated with screw...
