Embracing and mingling different denominations of metal and hardcore, Sangrar brings alchemical brutality to Tennessee's emerging metal scene. Forged in 2005, Sangrar hit the ground running, newbies among other respected Nashville bands.
Never ignoring each other’s ideas and maintaining a sweltering practice schedule keeps Sangrar on the road to bigger audiences and larger venues. After just a year, the band have started an impressive track record including over 40 shows in the state of Tennessee alone and slots as the opening act for national acts like Daath, God Forbid, Emmure, I Killed the
Prom Queen, Cannae, Threat Signal, Full Blown Chaos, Recon,
My Bitter End,
Goatwhore, Implosive Disgorgence,
Look What I Did, At All Cost, Lye By Mistake, My Children My Bride,
Oceano, Whitechapel, and dozens of regional groups.
Always living and playing for tomorrow, Sangrar continue to pound their way into new territory. Copies of their self-released EP, "We Have Met the Enemy and He is Us" have been sold overseas and across the country. Sangrar began their next opus earlier this year, an album that will epitomize the power, edge, and inventiveness that is the essence of Sangrar.
As a band of true metal fans, new material is the gasoline fueling both the band’s progress and desire to make music like no other. Now as always, Sangrar plan to keep having fun while obliterating monotony with every riff.
