Dara Dyllin is a Nashville based, ASCAP affiliated, singer/songwriter with her own music publishing company DCS432 Music. Currently her song 'Girl in the Mirror' is a featured cut on Leah Faith's debut album 'Breaking Free' and it has received praise from fellow songwriters, music industry veterans and fans alike. It is one of the many ways Dara is making her presence known in today's music industry. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and though the foundation of her musicianship came early on in life through exposure to a wide variety of music ranging from Classical to Classic Rock and Alternative her interest in other musical genres continues to expand. After high school Dara attended the University of Pittsburgh where she majored in theater arts. The experience allowed her to bloom artistically because it was then she realized as an artist what she really wanted to do was sing and write. Knowing that as a singer/songwriter she would have to 'sink or swim' Dara left college began tending bar and eventually worked her way to Nashville. It was really rough getting settled but she was fortunate to have the support of family, friends and associates. Dara finds personal fulfillment in performing and writing her own material to the extent that when someone relates to her how they've been 'touched' by one of her songs, she knows she's made a contribution towards keeping the soul of music alive.
