About Me

This is the [M]useum.
Something significant is happening here…
It all began when Ben Richter [Lead Vocals / Guitars] and Geoff Ashcraft [Guitar] left behind their native republic of Texas to head into the unknown of Atlanta, GA in March of 2006. Two weeks prior, the duo had just released the debut album “Inside Out” with the Ben Richter Band. Upon arrival in the great state of Georgia, they quickly found Drummer and Programming Extraordinaire [covertly disguised as a church janitor], Josh Kirk. The band quickly began leading worship together and supporting the new album. In November of that year, Dan Snyder left the comfort of his Mountainous Tennessee life of researching conspiracy theories and driving armored trucks to join in the endeavor.
Together, we led worship and began traveling throughout the U.S and even into England and Wales for nearly a year before joining forces with producer Jason Hoard [Steve Fee, Kristian Stanfill, John Waller, Matt Papa]. In August of '07, we began work on our first record together. “Reverse This Dying Trend” began with a sense of urgency to get the message out through a captivating blend of melodies and instruments. The album was born out of a desire to see things change. We realize it’s the things we leave behind that make a difference, the evidence that there has been a revolution. This is bigger than music...this is a hope to inspire our generation to live for something bigger than ourselves. We hope that our music and our lives can be the display that something significant has happened here and we will never be the same. This is the Museum. We are four guys who want to leave things better than we found them.
“We’ve carried chains around of our jaded innocence, yet something burns in me to reverse this dying trend.”
