2 Sides of the Family

Jerome grew up listening to old school soul music and always had a love for music. When he was 12 years old his cousin Kease Banks and brother Jimmy James started rapping on a tape recorder. Jerome would supply the beat with his hands or from a video game. Jerome a.k.a. Rainman started making his own music after he had graduated from High school in 2000 as a hobby with a friend. The both of them planned on writing and producing their own album. Rainman and his friend started out using a beat machine and a Yamaha PSR-225. After making music for a few months Rainman decided that he wanted to become a music producer. In order to accomplish this goal Rainman began studying the craft of creating music and practicing his craft with his friend. Shortly after Rainman started making music, Jimmy James and a partner started 2 Sides of the Family. Jimmy James and his partner purchased a Korg Triton LE and a computer to record the music. Rainman began working with the Korg Triton LE and after a few months people could not beleive how Rainman progressed. After the sampler was purchased for the triton, Rainman began teaching himself how to sample by studying producers who used samples. Everytime he learned how to do something new with music, Rainman would show his friend how to do everything he knew. In 2003, Rainman contacted Taichi in Atlanta, GA. Taichi was always around and he always had a relationship with Rainman. Rainman told Taichi that he had some heat for him when he got back from Atlanta. When Taichi came back to Gun Ru, He started recording the Murder Mixtapes, Homicide Vol. 1 & Vol.2 the DT Edition. Kendil was featured on Homicide The DT Edition. Rainman and his friend produced a few tracks on those series of CDs. Taichi went back to ATL and came back to Gun Ru to record Meeting of The Bosses. After Meeting of The Bosses was recorded, Taichi began recording Talk of The City. Rainman has production on Talk of The City and Deceptions of Hate. He is working with many more projects with Taichi, Kendil, Civi, and other artists affiliated with Wealthy Family Records, 2 Sides of The Family.
