About Me

I'm old. I would describe myself as a relaxed, laid back old devil. I only subscribe to Playboy magazine so that I can read the articles. There is certainly no truth to the rumors that I am stubborn and I exaggerate relentlessly. I have lived all over the country, and now live in Southwestern Michigan, about 15 miles from the Indiana border and 20 miles from Lake Michigan. Sister Lakes is a vacation area just a few miles from here, with 10 inland lakes within a 6 mile radius. Some of my favorite photos of this area are in a slideshow below, along with a few that are just for fun.

My Interests

I like photography, woodworking, music, internet surfing, computers, and girls (generally around my age, but 20-30 years younger will certainly be considered):)

I'd like to meet:

Real people who are looking for friends - a good sense of humor, cheerful outlook on life, and a drawer full of good jokes are all pluses. Good typing skills are not required. No cam girls with nude chatrooms need apply - that's not my scene.
I would also like to meet any doctors with experience in body transplants. My old one has well over 300,000 miles on it, and I've picked this one out of the catalogue as the replacement. What do ya think?

Immigration Gumballs

This is a MUST SEE video for anyone interested in the immigration debate, whether you are a citizen, an illegal alien or a Congressman. This clip from the longer video, Immigration by the Numbers, features Roy Beck demonstrating the catastrophe of the huge numbers of both legal and illegal immigration by Third World people into the modern nations. He uses standard statistics and simple gumballs to show this disaster in the making.

Music:

Most any new country, and old time rock & roll (50's & 60's) I like Alabama, Anne Murray, Brooks & Dunn, The Dixie Chicks, Lonestar, The Kingston Trio, & lots of others.

Some of my favorite music is below on this page in a jukebox. You will notice that some of it is old, like me. I prefer to call it timeless, rather than old.

Movies:

Action/adventure movies & some old musicals like South Pacific and Paint Your Wagon (who would have thunk that Clint Eastwood & Lee Marvin could sing?)

Television:

I only watch TV sporatically but when I do it's usually drama or action/adventure. I can't really stomach the reality shows. I do try not to miss Two and 1/2 Men - I think it is the funniest show on TV.
