I am 58 yrs. old, have 1 daughter and 2 granddaughters. I lack 3 quarters of a foreign language to have a bachelor's degree in Communications. But since I don't work anymore, I have given up on that.I'm the eternal optimist. For me the glass is always half full. I believe in honesty and good communication. You can't have a good relationship if you can't talk things out. I worked for over 30 years and now am retired on disability. I am NOT looking for someone to take care of me. I do that very well, thank you. I don't particularly want to get married again, would just like a companion to do things with, whatever that may be!! I have fought osteoarthritis since I was a teen, and believe me I do fight it. I still go camping, yes, I can walk! I can talk too!! Most guys hear handicapped and don't want to even explore who I am. But my handicap doesn't mean I sit around and do nothing. I am still a very active woman! I recently joined a health club and am working out to strengthen my joints. Maybe it will help me quit smoking too!! I love to go fishing and boating and love the outdoors. I love to watch my NFL, read mysteries mostly, love to cook but enjoy dressing up and going out to dinner occasionally. But I'm a romantic too.
