Adoma is the project of Dutch musician, composer and producer Ronnie
van der Veer. After playing the drums in melodic rock band A Day's Work and
doing gigs in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany he decided to quit the
band and chose another direction.
But it didn't took long before he started writing and producing
electronic tracks and recording with session musicians and vocalists. After 18
months this led to the debut album "A night through the telescope" that Adoma released himself in March 2007.
On the album Adoma combines chill out with triphop and a little IDM,
influenced by groups like Lamb, Amon Tobin and Massive Attack.
"A
night through the telescope" contains
strong vocal tracks as well as atmospheric instumental tracks. Adoma is still looking for a record label.
"Chill out on a higher level"
"Music to dream away with"
"Van der Veer makes movies for the mind"
"After listening to `a night through the telescope I believe that there is more to come for this talent from Alkmaar."
