How did I join A Day's Work Maarten, a friend of mine and guitarplayer/singer for A Day's Work, came up to me and said:
"Hey Paul, do you want to be our leadsinger? I want to focus on my guitarplaying."
"Well, I dunno, I'd like to give it a try"
That's a few years ago. Many shit has happened since then. The first few gigs were pretty lame. But in time we turned into a solid rocking machine.
We've done shows in France, Germany, Belgium and Holland. From small pubs to the biggest venues and festivals (Paradiso, Melkweg, Elysee Montmartre, Parkpop Festival). We've supported great bands like Snow Patrol, Living Colour, Golden Earring, Riverside, Threshold and we've been on tour through Europe with the Mighty Marillion twice!
Our album 'A Home In The Rain' is out and doing really well. We've sold about 1200 copies so far. Thanks to DAWA music and Suburban Distribution you can purchase it in every recordstore in Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg.
On our band myspace we've put 3 new tracks for you. To let you know how the new songs sound. Please let us know what you think.
I have also been asked to join in on a few projects over the past few years:
Guest vocalist on Rebel Without A Clue's "I Will Fall".
The Fabmore playing the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band"
The Ayreonotes - Ayreon tribute band performing @ the Official Fanmeet.
