Eyelashes of Gina

Eyelashes of Gina, henceforth to be known as EoG, came into being when lead singer Iana was spotted singing Bauhaus covers in a matinee idol style for her old band, Ethel Murphy. Her talent was striking and EoG simply had to have her. Before then Leah and Liz were struggling in an electro-pop duo - with only bass and drums at hand they had come to a crashing halt and needed new blood. They spotted Iana in Vegas, singing as support for Big Elvis at the Barbary Coast hotel and approached her offering fame, fortune and the chance to become the final third of the EoG plan for world domination.
Once debut album, Camden Leisure Pirates, had been recorded in Liz's bohemian art loft, with the aid of a trip to Peckham and some Rizlas, they set about marketing their unique sound. That album contained the seminal classics Your Grandma's Ass is Really Good, This Is What My Five Fingers Say To Your Face: SLAP! and When I Fuck You White Devil I Use A Knife. Though Iana currently resides in Texas they use the power of the internet to make magic on an international scale. Second album Ride the Lamb came out last year and new songs such as Ooh Fred's Got Slacks (On The Boulevard), Booby Fixation and were taken to heart by the band's rabid and fast increasing fanbase. In the gap between albums two and three they took on legal and financial representation after an unfortunate incident involving a stalker from Germany who insisted on following them into their hotel like a freak. The title track from that difficult 3rd album, We Only Take Our Sunglasses Off For Daddy, will be out as soon as the ink has dried on the artwork. The album has a working title of The Shittiest Bar and when it's released EoG will be ready to take on the world. And your mum. They are available for gigs and personal appearances and specalise in enigmatic photoshoots.
