Talk Shit...Get Lit! 81 Forever

About Me

Professional Bassist, Lead Vocalist, Songwriter.
Very proud to have been born and raised in SW Detroit(Mexicantown).
Attended Western High School until neighbors put a bass in my hands at the age of 17. Fell in love with the world of music, and have been fortunate enough since then to assemble quite a few National and Internationally released CD's. A few of which are pictured below.
Toured Europe, (London, Engand and Scotland), awarded many Metro Times Motor City Music Awards and Detroit Music Awards, and have shared the stage with many national artists such as Kid Rock, Joan Jett, Cheap Trick, Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Eddie Money, The Bullet Boys, The Tubes, The Del Fuegos, Los lobos, Will and the Kill (Charlie Sexton's brother), Greg Allman, and far too many more to mention. Last but certainly not least, I am a very proud single Daddy to two beautiful sons who are number 1 in my book!
I've also just completed a 23 year reunion with my very first "real band" called HELICON. We had a huge reunion at the bullfrog lounge on Aug 26th 2006. Thanks again for all of your support!
