Alter Ego Worx

Come what (ever) may - here I am!

About Me

As a wanderer in the World Wide Web I am also a wanderer between light and darkness, the written word and the new media, between Theology and Philosophy, between music and silence, between techniques and tradition - but mainly someone who has the ability (or the sick need, whatever you wanna call this!) to reveal is inner self to the broad public, rarely thinking of consequences that accompany this behaviour.
I have good days and I have bad days, I have funny days and I have sad says - depending on weather, work and other circumstances (including the four seasons) that always have a certain influence of my attitude towards different things and my kind of writing - yeah, I am quite versatile when it comes to the written word, some even attest me a lyrical vein but I would not go so far to acknowledge this without any doubts. Many people hover between genius and insanity, right? Consider for yourself to which of these two controverse sides you may file me in - but be aware that the next day (and blog entry) can completely revert your opinion.
If you are in the music business (my musical taste should be clear when venturing through my profile!) or in any way connected to publications with origins in Theology (Roman Catholic) and Philosophy and are in search for someone who may work as a co-author or columnist, let me know by sending me an e-mail - by all means I am eager to live out my lyrical vein about which I have told you some thoughts ago. No more words for now - the curious ones may contact me!

My Interests

Computing + IT (my hobby - my profession!), Rome (a city like no other!!!!), Multimedia, Sports, Tattoos & Piercings, Travelling, Photography, Music, DVD, Home Cinema & movies, Console Gaming (preferred XBOX-user) and... Books, Books, Books and Literature in general (I even like the smell of new books, hmmmm...)!

I'd like to meet:

Here? First of all my unborn child which still needs seven months to meet me! Generally buddies, friends and people who share my interests and / or my musical favourites. In person? Surely Pope John Paul II. (R. I. P.), Pope Benedict XVI. , George Lucas and Eric Clapton - although these wishes are not quite realistic, aren't they?

Music:

Everything related to the six-string-monster named "guitar". At least one guitar makes a song worth listening - to make it short I love music from bands like Fear Factory, Paradise Lost, Type O Negative, Sepultura, Slipknot, Nightwish, Linkin Park or Fort Minor and even Crossover in general. Depending on my mood, even a lil' bit of Hip Hop meets styles like Blues (Clapton is god!) and even Darkwave / EBM. As I've said, it all depends on my mood :-) !

Movies:

Star Wars (there won't be anything like that again - never!), Indiana Jones Trilogy, Back to the Future (where cult is still cult!) and "standard"-horror movies like Friday the 13th (Jason still rules *g* !)...

Television:

Slightly everything I may buy as a complete season-dvd : Ranging from CSI (Las Vegas / Miami / New York / whatever) to The O. C. , South Park, Smallville (hope Clark does never really grow up!) and my all-time fave The A-Team. The rest of my TV sessions is lost time for shows that are not worth getting mentioned here :-) !

Books:

Too many to sum up here - for example Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings"-trilogy (including "The little Hobbit"), novels from Dan Brown, Anne Rice, Jeff Long, James Rollins, Stephen King, Douglas Preston + Lincoln Child, Scott McBain, everything "Star Wars"-related of course (it does not matter who wrote the book here!) and all kinds of theologically influenced books... Did I already mention that there are only a few better things than the smell of new books *g* ?

Heroes:

In my early years? Captain Future and Michael Knight feat. the A-Team. In my teenage days? No idea. Today? My spouse and my parents who always endure my moods and the way I am. Historical hero? Pope John Paul II. Musical hero? Eric Clapton. IT-hero? Bill Gates (for having done the right thing at the same time) and Steve Jobs (for facing Bill ever and ever, surpassing him once)... And - not to forget - my unborn child for enrichening my life that much - I love you!
