Hey there! I’m Kenny!
SHORT BIO
I’ve been playing guitar since the age of 11 and been performing live with bands since I was 13. After playing with local bands around the Manchester area for 5 years I moved to Guildford, Surrey and studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music earning a BA Hons Degree in Popular Music Performance.
Since moving South I have played in venues across London and Surrey in a wide variety of genres from metal to funk to dance and contributed to recordings for students at both the ACM and Alchemia School of Audio Engineering.
TEACHING
I now run a private teaching practice in the Buxton area so if anyone is interested in learning to play the guitar get in contact! I cover all contemporary genres i.e blues, rock, metal, funk both to an advanced level as well as in depth music theory.
I’m now writing articles for www.intellectualmusician.com a website run by Berklee College of Music Students! I..m going to be doing a series on funk guitar and some other more unorthadox approaches to guitar! Check them out if you fancy trying some new ideas!
LIVE WORK
I play lead guitar for funk/blues out fit Remedy Krewe! (Top Friends)
I also play for pub rock covers band, The Inner Sense we play a variety of blues/rock classics any upcoming gigs will be advertised on this page...
