This is my life, my love, my reason for waking up every morning. When I look at his face, gaze into his eyes, I see only a reflection of me staring back at me. It seems like just yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital and now he is my little man. The feeling of fulfillment that he has brought to me is beyond words. Sometimes, I still question my mothering abilities but yet I know that I have done some justice to the role. Every milestone for him is kind of a personal victory for me. His first smile, first word, first step just amazed me at the little miracle that I had created. The one thing that can always help me through the toughest of times is his smile! That 1000 watt glow makes me forget about everything and realize what I am doing anything for. I have learned every important lesson in life from him: how to forgive, how to love unconditionally, how to be innocent, how to enjoy the small things in life, how to be carefree. The list goes on and on forever though. But all in all, he has made me who I am today!Lately my newest obsession would have to be art and photography. I adore Jeff Thomas's artwork! Alayna Magnan is also a wonderful artist! Martin Abel's work is also super! And I can't forget about A.V. Phibes & Luke Chueh too! Fashion & style is key to my life. This does not mean I buy $200 designer jeans though. I am happy with my ripped up non-name brand clothing. Afterall, real beauty is not boughten! Which includes silicone and any other non-birth given feature that women now a days think they need to be beautiful. But more power to you girls who bought your self-esteem and confidence! lol Beauty is not defined by the sway of your hips, the curves in your figure, starvation, or silicone. It's not a perfect face, black lined eyes, or full lips. It's about pain, suffering, and survival from within. It's in the spirit and in the heart!
I'd like to meet:
For the most part I am a very warm and inviting person. I am open to meeting anyone as long as I am treated with respect. My friend's to me are more of my family than my bloodline family and I value and cherish each and every one of you! The one's close to me have earned the rights to be my partners in crime because as we all know I am not the most angelic of them all and have quite the wild streak in me that quite frequently comes out to tear up the town, or mountains, or wherever I happen to be at that moment! These are the people I know will lend me a shoe to shit in at any given time! I would love to meet Louise Brooks, Mae West, or Betty Page or any other woman who took control of their sexuality. I LUV the Yeah Yeah Yeah's & Fleetwood Mac! I'm beginning to think I have a quite unhealthy obsession with them! Music rules my life. Everything about it intrigues me and if you make music, you are a god to me! lol DJ's, especially the ones struggling to make a name for themselves deserve all the respect in the world. I've dabbled with djing myself and it's not an easy task by any means. I am currently learning to spin records myself. Bands who don't sell out and start doing it for the wrong reasons also kick ass! I will admit there are some big name DJ's and bands that I adore however a part of me still wants to believe they do it for the people and for themselves for the right reasons! Now to actually list some of my favorites. As for dj's: John B, AK1200, Nicky Blackmarket, Dj Icey, Tiesto, Motorcycle, Nadia Ali, Thrillseekers, and Robert Miles just to name a few. As for bands: Rise Against, MxPx, Rancid, Eurythmics, Counting Crows, Blink 182 and pretty much all music from the 80's! There are many many more but those are some of my all time favorites, for right now!
Movies:
I own quite a few movies. However more than half are children's movies for Josiah of course! ;) One quarter would be funny stupid movies like Napolean Dynamite, The Austin Powers series, Old School, Anchorman and others like those. The other quarter would have titles like Back Door Beauties, Here I Cum Again, and well you get the idea!lol My favorite movies of all times are What Dreams May Come and Wavetwisters! I swear Q-Bert is a genious for creating Wavetwisters!
