I think I am developing a serious addiction to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Just can't seem to get them off my mini player. But besides that, I like music, movies (but not in the creapy film student kind of way), hockey, playing football, playing pool, playing poker, partying, dancing, traveling, and writing. Sidenote: I don't usually gamble when playing pool or poker, so I am not one of those people with the "gambling problem".

So when it comes to movies I am a big sucker for the old 80's high school type movies, aka: The breakfast club, The Goonies, 16 Candles (basically anything with Molly Ringwald staring or Cyndi Lauper on the soundtrack). Other favorites: Indiana Jones, Sixth Sense, Interview with a Vampire, The Mummy, What Dreams May Come. Generally into comedy, horror, and adventure films, but always open to new things.

Books:
This is also a bit of a strange listing, but general authors I like are: Dan Brown(yes I was sucked up into the mass hysteria, but his books are damn good) and Anne Rice. Those are the only two authors I have really stayed glued to. I read a lot for school, so most of the reading I do is non-fiction. Open to suggestions for good fiction and non-fiction reads.
I also love poetry, writing and reading it. Some of my favorites are William Shakespeare (of course), Edgar Allen Poe, Ben Johnson, and Goethe.
