... grew up in the most southern part of our beloved bavaria, apart from any added flavour enhancers and assembly line music, where he experienced musical culture in his very own way.
Gradually getting into electronic music by the age of 16, this passion became an absolute addiction and an important part of his life. He decided to teach himself the art of turntableism and in the following years, he got to know more and more artists and played his first gigs in DJ Hell´s former Club Villa in Traunstein with hosts like Tassilo Ippenberger aka Panpot and the Pornostars.
In 2002, he moved to Munich where he took up his studies in architecture. His affinity for visual expression also materialises in the appearance of Hometownmusic and Ilian Tape which he does all the designing work for. Once settled in Munich´s scene, he soon hooked up with the Stock5 crew which had a great impact on his further development. Mirko, Koba and Kid chic pushed his style and provided a platform for his way of celebrating and producing electronic music.
By now, Mueller has already got in place quite well and is famous for his groovy, glibby and dark sets which keep raving forward without ever losing the thread. Hence, his sets have become a vital part of the Munich club scene around Registratur and Harry Klein.
In 2006, the circle finally completes with the foundation of the new label Hometownmusic which has already explored the whole world with its releases and collaborations with artists like Franco Cinelli, Leonel Castillo and Jorge Savoretti from Argentina, or Agnes from Switzerland. Hometownmusic and the follow-up label Ilian Tape are run by Mueller and his close friend Dario Zenker.
ILIAN TAPE´s first release will be the CONFUSION IS SEX EP by LEE VAN DOWSKI&DACHSHUND. Upcoming as well is the DERCOLE LEVEN EP by the Chicago bounce master RALPH SLIWINSKI. Plus, as a Christmas present, we will present the first record of FRANCO CINELLI & DARIO ZENKER´s project called MARIA FRESCA - WOMASUSHI EP.
