Marco Zenker

marco zenker wurde 1988 im münchner glockenbachviertel geboren. nachdem marco sich jahrelang durch skateboarding und andere sportarten verwirklichte und roots reggae und underground hip hop hörte, entdeckte er durch eine party im harry klein, auf der sein bruder dario auflegte, eine faszination für elektronische musik. in der zwischenzeit hat marco seinen eigenen musikalischen stil entwickelt, der sich hauptsächlich dubby, deep & spaced out beschreiben lässt. seine erste ep wurde auf ilian tape veröffentlicht, darauf folgten eine weitere ep auf igloo und seine neuste namibia dub ep ebenfalls auf ilian tape. differse kollaborationen mit zum beispiel viollett oder dario tauchen in seiner discography auf. an silvester 2008 hatte er zusammen mit dario sein live set debut im harry klein. sein erster solo live auftritt kommt demnächst!
marco zenker was born in 1988 in munich bavaria. after several years of skateboarding, playing soccer and listening to roots reggae and underground hip-hop, he discovered a fascination for electronic music after he went to see his brother dario zenker playing at the famous harry klein. meanwhile, marco developed his own musical style which is mostly dubby, deep & spaced out. his first ep was released on ilian tape, which was followed by an ep on igloo and his latest namibia dub ep also on ilian tape. several collaborations with for example violett or dario can be found in his discography. on new years eve 2008 he had is first official live gig together with dario at harry klein. his first solo live gig will come soon!
