About Me

I currently divide my time between being a parent, a housewife, a student and a writer.

I grew up reading CS Lewis, Tolkien, Diana Wynne Jones, Rumer Godden, Ursula le Guin, Ray Bradbury and Marion Zimmer Bradley. After I was married I went through a period of reading Mills & Boon romances, and more recently discovered the author Jennifer Crusie.

My ambition is to write something that encompasses elements from all the above.

Failing that, writing anything as heartwrenchingly beautiful as The Time Traveller's Wife (Audrey Niffenegger) would do very nicely!

My other ambition is to persuade a literary agent to represent my romantic fantasy novel: Within the Darkness.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Hm, a literary agent who represents romance and fantasy would be good!

Apart from that, I love to talk to other readers and writers, particularly those who like my favourite genres of romance, fantasy and science fiction.

I'm also quite fond of meeting other Christians, and anyone who doesn't offend my feminist sensibilities too much!
