Baron Samedi

Too weird to live, and too rare to die

About Me

Baron Samedi was spawned in mid 2006 by guitarists Brenno and Luke in the bowels of their infamous quarters in the glen. Initial lengthy guitar-solo jams prior to weekly excursions to the forum, soon evolved into structured rock songs following the addition of comrades Josy (drums), Eoin (bass) and Shane (vocals) to this cauldron of burning potential. The lads have been grafting like beavers since then – blending large quantities of blood, sweat and tears with countless hours of practice; hoping for the combination to result in an ever-growing arsenal of noise…
So lock up your daughters, shoot your sons, 'cause rockin' tunes harder than a Chuck Norris/Steven Seagal tag-team, heavier than Mr. T's medallion collection, tighter than a pair of Duffman's jocks, hotter than Pat Mustard, cooler than Vanilla Ice, more monstrous than the pork-chops of Elvis Presley and more charismatic than the blushing blazer of the legend that is Ron Burgundy, are coming your way at such a frenetic pace you'll forget to bring your name-tag to work. Drawing on inspiration from the sounds of groovy guitar riffs and howling singing from decades past and present, hinging on a spine of galloping bass and thunderous drums, Baron Samedi hope to take Waterford's already booming music scene by storm and promise to make you move like a break-dancing turtle atop a volcano hell-bent on eruption!! Please keep your eager eyes peeled and attentive ears open for one or two scratchy demos in the very near future...
