About Me

Over the years, Mr Lawson has pretty much done it all on the music front. He's been on the radio, worked at record stores, in distribution and at record labels such as Profile, Stonegroove and Low Life. While at Stonegroove, he co-ordinated compilations like the 'New York State Of Rhyme' and 'Styles Upon Styles' series and put together singles from underground favourites such as J-Zone, Apathy & Celph Titled and Kurious as well as DJ MK's homegrown anthem 'It's All Live'. Mr Lawson held down 'The Show With No Name' on London's Itch 105.1 FM for 5 years until the station called it a day in January 2008. The show has a new home on PhatBeats.Net every Tuesday night in the Urban Studio, so you can now listen worldwide. He currently runs Gameplan Promotions, specialising in Press & Radio Promotions for a number of Independent Hip Hop labels.
