Click to zoom in on my visitor map! You can also make your own! The members of Glorious DJs have been party-people since 1996 and have seen nearly all of the East-German locations. The earliest influence was Trance, but they soon found out that House was more of their kind. The "Queen" club in Berlstedt was their homebase, where they saw DJs like Mixmastertim and Mirko Jacob. Tim was the first one to play one of Flavour's tracks in a club, and rocked the crowd with it so hard, it really gave Flavour some goosebumbs. That was the one moment, when he realized that producing was the thing he wanted to so. Later, Mirko Jacob and Mark J Klak founded the Boogie Pimps and came up with their first single "Saltshaker". That one record defined the sound, Flavour and StraightEdge always wanted to play. So here they are...
Sounds Like: What can we say, so Glorious DJs sound like anything else ? Of course, we can't re-invent music, so we play straight House and Electro sets. We like the sound of Tocadisco, Disco Galaxy, Phunk-A-Delic, Mylo... but we can't say (yet) our productions sound like them. We are working to improve what we do, we never are satisfied with the sound we play...
