Welcome! I'm a passionate wildlife & nature photographer, insect photographer, conservationist, and freelance writer. I enjoy traveling, learning, and meeting people from all walks of life. :)
As a photographer, I like to capture images that inspire, provoke, educate and/or represent unparalleled beauty. My main photography niche is the natural world: fauna, flora, insects, reptiles, amphibians, birds, etc. There is nothing more peaceful to me than being outdoors with Mother Nature. It's the perfect escape from the daily grind, and it's so refreshing!
As a conservationist, it's important to me to help keep our earth's animals, plants and natural resources protected. I absolutely love and care for animals very much - yes, even bugs - and it hurts to see any form of nature/wildlife injured, abused and/or neglected. It's a passion and a joy to me to do my part in helping to keep our natural world safe.
As a writer, I like to inspire, to share, and to alter other's perspectives to help them to see things from another point of view. Most of my writing is based on experience, wisdom, and inspiration. I want to leave behind a legacy that's going to make a difference and help others. Mahatma Gandhi said it well in his famous quote, "We must be the change we wish to see in the world."
On the flip side...
I'm an actress, model and avid athlete who's into competitive sports and the risky business of stunt work. I love challenges - against myself that is! I like to push myself to levels that most people won't dare attempt — mainly because it's in my blood - THE ADRENALINE RUSH - plus it's the only way I'll ever know the difference!
Overall, my life is one of ambition, exploration, inspiration, learning as I go, knowledge and wisdom. I have a need for speed and adventure whatever it may be (i.e. skydiving, precision driving, a fast-paced run, etc). Being fearless of the unknown certainly doesn't make me invincible, but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way! My life would be pretty dull without change and variety, and I wouldn't be myself.
I'd like to leave you with this thought...
Life is too short not to be doing what you love and loving what you do, and living each day to the fullest! Life is a gift to all of us — and one that ought to be *celebrated* every day that you're alive!!! :)
