born in 1976 traxxolexxx started making music at the age of 5 years, playing flute, xylophon and mostly singing - from his 9th year on he learned to play the piano, later saxophon and doublebass. in his teens he's predominantly been inspired by ragtime, jazz, blues, beatles, alexandr skrijabin, pink floyd, john cage, bill evans, sting, beastie boys, john coltrane, public enemy, paul simon, a tribe called quest and boogie down productions - during his twentys he travelled all of germany, switzerland and austria; playing denmark, england, italy, spain and czech rep. with soundsystem groups: souljah, bazooka, silly walks, dj lobstarr and as a guest m.c. for many other infamous dancehallsets - the releases of traxxolexxx's alter ego: singer and m.c. LOBSTARR can by found on the labels: sillywalks prod., fourmusic, onelove, beatschmieda and several compilations and albums such as: dancehallreggae made in germany, germaican allstars, shining stars, caramelocriminal, lion's den, raggabund etc. - in 2003 he joined the nationwide well respected musicgroup: les babacools with whom he released the doublealbum: mundo stereo on spv rec. - in 2006 traxxolexxx joined up with his schoolmate, excellent jazzplayer and composer: sebastian gampert to work on three jazzmeetshiphop-tracks for the album and cookbook: soupenjazz, released in holland. currently traxxolexxx/loveonbeat is holding it down with: les babacools and raggabund, playing round about 150 shows each year. some of the twoturntablesandatapedeck-influenced productions of traxxolexxx can be listened to on this site.DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME ON YOUR DAD'S STEREO-ONLY UNDER HIPHOP SUPERVISION, alright!!
