NEXT LITTLE ROCK NOW MEETING...We are gearing up for the national conference on the 18th in DC so we will not have a July Meeting. We will meet in August and might be having a movie showing as well. More details coming soon!...Contact us with any questions! --------------------------------------------------------- Mission: "The purpose of NOW is to take action to bring all women into full participation in the mainstream of American society now, exercising all priveleges and responsibilities thereof in truly equal partnership with men."
NOW works to eliminate discrimination in the workplace, schools, the justice system, secure abortion, birth control and reproductive rights for all women; end all forms of violence against women; eradicate racism, sexism and homophobia; and promote equality and justice in our society.
We are committed to activism in the following areas:
