We're a band from Baltimore. We write songs and play them.

OUR NEW RECORD, Sweethearting, is out now!
It was recorded in the fall of '06 at Inner Ear and Silver Sonya studios in Arlington, VA, with the help of TJ Lipple (Aloha), Chad Clark (Beauty Pill) and Devin Ocampo (Beauty Pill/Medications). It has eleven songs. We are very proud of it. You can read some very nice reviews of it here .

In the past two years we've toured the east coast, midwest, and south, and played with a bunch of great bands you may or may not have heard of (Starlight Mints, Dios Malos, New Radiant Storm King, Au Revoir Simone, Oh No! Oh My!, The Broken West, Metal Hearts, Page France, Caitlin Cary, Schooner, Last Town Chorus, These United States) and some equally great bands who we hope you'll hear of soon (see our top friends for a few).

UPCOMING: NEW MUSIC! Two releases coming this fall with new Private Eleanor music on them. One is a tribute album to Grant McLennan, to which we contributed a cover of the Go-Betweens song "Love Goes On!"; the other is a compilation CD for The Beechfields Record Label that will feature some never-before-heard recordings.
