Creative & artistic retailers. I'm looking for venues in the Dallas/ FW area to display & sell my artwork and/or get some commissioned work from the exposure. I like to surround myself with creative, fun loving people that are open minded and have a good sense of humor. I'm always on the look out for old school friends (PPHS...Largo, FL) c/o 1988 who remember hanging out in Art Class, Drama Club and avoiding Phys. Ed.(ugh!) I'm a HUGE fan of 80's music: Pet Shop Boys; Eurythmics; Duran Duran, Thompson Twins, Culture Club; Erasure; etc.
Anything...depends on my mood and what I'm doing....my CD's range from Classical to Trance. Mix in some 80's new wave, jazz (Ella Fitzgerald to Dianne Reeves ) and even a little country (but just a little...)
Not much into the sitcoms & dramas on the tube. Once in awhile I enjoy a lazy Sunday watching HGTV; DISC; TLC; or HIST channels.
I love the HUGE "coffee table" books relating to art, architecture, antiques, theatre, opera or photography. I like the self improvement/motivational authors like Wayne Dyer, Dan Millman and Cheri-Carter Scott. I also like books on Eastern religion & Buddhist art.
Anyone that has overcome adversity (either physical or social) to make a difference in other's lives.
