The Debt Offensive

failures and legends, to a man.

About Me

Watch videos of us playing here: http://www.youtube.com/RealFingernail
The Debt Offensive formed in late autumn 2006.
David is the brains behind the operation. Whether it’s writing the melodious tunes and hooks that comprise the TDO repertoire, or organising rehearsals, recording demos and generally wasting a lot of money, he’s the man.
Fred is David’s oldest and tiredest friend. He’s the voice of the Debt Offensive, and as such, is kept in strictly controlled conditions. Hats have been specially made to fit his larger-than-average head.
Jon is not Fred’s brother (not really, anyway) but he is David’s brother (no, really). He traded his double bass for a Fender a long while ago (actually not true, we still have the double bass) and hasn’t looked back since. Don’t get into a car with him.
Boo-boo is the appropriately nick-named Indonesian who completes this otherwise non-motley outfit. Merely fulfilling a contractual obligation, his prescence is somewhat less than a blessing. Actually he’s a guitarist too, so everything is wrong.
Basically, it’s a huge mess.

The Debut Offensive

Well, not exactly. Fred and I basically did a little spot on a certain student radio station, of which the recording horribly distorts his voice, so I selected three of the best performances, cleaned ...
