No man looks good sipping a drink from a tiny cocktail straw -- unless strobe lights are involved.

About Me

I like sangria, old school-style anything, people with wide mouths, Steve Carrell, British philosophers, the New York Yankees, reruns of Law & Order and when people say "please" and "thank you". I talk a lot. I tell the truth a lot. And within five minutes of meeting you I will probably call you some version of "muffin". I dislike things strongly that don't make sense to most people -- umbrellas, white chocolate. And when I love something or someone I love it with everything that I have. It's exhausting. Weird weather happens wherever I am -- off-season snow in Paris, Vegas and Edinburgh, torrential rain in Southern California, all while I was visiting. If you're mean to a waiter while I am with you that will be the last time we ever see each other. If I could bring anyone back from the past just to have sex with him it would be Al Pacino when he played Serpico. Oh, and I totally believe that Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back.4dc6cb=

My Interests

Music, travel, art, books about music, art and travel, Yankee games, speaking French, good coffee, Magner's Cider, New Orleans, Beat literature, lesbian actresses, ..aries about transgender individuals and baby beauty pagents, random encounters with people I haven't seen in years, my cell phone, downloading songs that no one wants to hear but me, avoiding phone calls, updating my .. profile, walking an extra block to hear the end of a good song on my MP3 player, writing stories about people I see on the bus.

I'd like to meet:

John Frusciante. Katherine Moennig. Romain Duris. Tina Fey. Eddie Izzard. Mathieu Kassovitz. Bruce Springsteen. Andy Pettite. People who don't make me want to pull my own eyeballs out and play with them just so I have something better to do then to talk to them. People who aren't offended by sarcastic comments about me pulling out my own eyeballs.I've come to the conclusion that I randomly produce two things that have threatened to take over my life -- glitter and dust bunnies. To be in my life you must accept these two things, love them and not comment on the sheer multitude of both of them in my daily existence.Truthfully, I like most everyone. I could write something sweet and earnest here, listing the requirements that people have to fulfill in order to receive the honor of my friendship, but who the fuck am I kidding? I'm a Myspace whore. Ask me to be your friend, I'll probably say yes.Find more videos like this on www.truveo.com.

Music:

U2, old school hip hop, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante, The Beatles, Fiona Apple, Beth Orton, The Sundays, Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday, salsa, Gipsy Kings, Jay Z, Outkast, Sublime, Barenaked Ladies, Guster, Portishead, Coldplay, Bob Dylan, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Snoop Dogg, Beastie Boys, Sarah MacLachlan, The Strokes, Jet, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Nina Simone, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Keane, Charlie Parker, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, According to Wendy, Finespun, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, Spoon, Missy Elliot, Ella Fitzgerald, Sinead O'Connor, Jane's Addiction, Mazzy Star, Everything but the Girl, Dido, Blues Traveler, Lynard Skynard, Aerosmith... whatever, I like music. I'm tired of naming bands.

Movies:

Buffalo '66, Moonstruck, The Goodbye Girl, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Taxi Driver, Benny & Joon, Auntie Mame, The Warriors ("Warriors, come out and playyyyy"), Swingers, Elf (I swear to God if you don't think Will Ferrell is hilarious, you're retarded), Made, Party Girl, Drop Dead Gorgeous, The Birdcage, The Lost Boys, Narc, The Virgin Suicides, The Constant Gardener, Mean Streets, Sid + Nancy (I think one of the world's ultimate movie love scenes is in this movie. Seriously.), Green Card, Saved, Midnight Cowboy, Popeye, Dodgeball, Anchorman, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Panic at Needle Park, Frankie & Johnny, GoodFellas, Flawless, Amelie, L'Auberge Espagnol

Television:

Not too much TV going on, especially since my stupid DVR broke. I mostly like reruns (Seinfeld), bad reality TV (America's Next Top Model) and movies anyway. I don't watch anything first-run because that would involve remembering what day stuff is on, and I just can't seem to do that.

Books:

On the Road, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, biographies of dead artists, anything by Bill Bryson, I Know this Much is True, She's Come Undone, White Oleander, Siddhartha, Beloved, The Bluest Eye, Jazz, The True Story of Hansel & Gretel, The Corrections, Me Talk Pretty One Day, The Anansi Boys. Oh, and I've read Little Women about 1 million times. And I'm not ashamed of that.

Heroes:

Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan, Al Pacino... hey, why are all my heroes men? I like Maya Angelou, Katharine Hepburn, Jane Pratt, Sylvia Plath, Parker Posey, Lili Taylor, Tina Fey, Debbie Harry. Oh, and John Frusciante. Duh.

Bullets for my valentine, anyone? Anyone?

It started out as a normal Sunday. I woke up, knocked a fuzzy creature off of my chest (WHY Juniper needs to sleep ON TOP of me is completely beyond my understanding) and started making coffee. Jessic...
