About Me

MyGen Profile Generator

Crimson Exposure are five piece heavy rock/metal/hardcore band based within the Forest of Dean. Crimson Exposure formed as a band in the summer of 2004, beginning as a four piece group. The band practised regularly and found their first vocalist Will but soon after he decided to leave the band due to musical difficulties, Will unfortunately left in late 2004. He was quickly replaced by Peter, who joined Crimson Exposure in January 2005. This line up worked well and continued to write material and gig within the Forest of Dean.

Shortly after the band recorded their first E.P. ‘The unseen picture’ early in 2005 at Berry Hill recording studios. The band was happy with the end result but felt that something was missing, so auditioned for a second guitarist. Thus, Andy a firm friend fitted the position and joined the band in October 2005. This added a new addition to the line up, bringing a range of new ideas and furthered experience to share. This also brought improved, more exiting song material.

The band began gigging in the Gloucester area and gained a great deal of publicity, confidence and knowledge towards their music and the industry. However in February 2006, Peter could no longer attend practises due to personal reasons and therefore gave up his position of vocalist. This came as a shock to the band, but they still continued to write material. Two months on and Ben took the position of front man, a friend from the Gloucester area. His contacts brought on further gig from the Gloucester area.

Now with a fixed line-up Crimson Exposure have developed into a stronger, much more professional and focused group and have played a vast number of gigs and festivals in and around the Gloucestershire area, such as Newent arts festival, Cinderford Fringe Two years running and also the Ciderpop festival. The band has also hit other areas such as Chepstow and Cardiff.

Since the fixture of Ben, Crimson Exposure have written and recorded their second E.P. ‘Kurenai Arawa’ also record at Berry Hill studios in August this year.

Crimson Exposure writes and performs all of their own material, all of which are original songs. They thoroughly enjoy playing and have an enthusiastic and hardworking approach towards the band. Crimson Exposure has a unique style of music and is still developing and improving areas to work towards their desired genre.

With grungy rhythmic bass lines, added with powerful chords and striking guitar riffs. All of these blends with complex and bold drum patterns parallel with punchy, deep vocals, Crimson Exposure is made!
