Cheers!Feed the Addiction are a rock/punk three-piece band formed in early 2006. The band's first year saw the writing of a 10 track album consisting of well known tracks such as 'Faceplant' and 'Half Pint', quoted by the NWN to "give Green Day a run for their money!". The year also saw the winning of andover battle of the bands, which followed up with the highlight of the year for the band: a show in the town's packed out high street of over 2500 spectators.

2007 saw the band continue to play shows and more formally establish themselves, as well as continuously writing songs for the next release. The songs were tested out live, scrapped, replaced, and improved until the band finally got into the studio in October. The band spent a week recording the 12 track album title-tracked 'Save it for the Last Time' with Jordan Fish at Boundary Studios.

Some of the bands other achievements include headlining a show attended by A&R at the Oxford Zodiac in May '07 with support from Birmingham based band Templeton Pek (now signed by Small Town Records), and Oxford's King Furnace. The band have also played venues such as the Fleece and Firkin (one of bristols leading venues), and The Amey Theatre in Abingdon.

24TH NOVEMBER '07- MOORSIDE CENTRE REVIEW!

"Feed the Addiction were undoubtedly the best band of the night. They had a large fan-base in attendance and were a good a laugh, and incorporated a great Green Day cover into their set. Frontman James amazingly also made a song up for World Aids Day minutes before they were due on stage. During their second song, they had problems with the sound, but this was not the band's fault and it was resolved quickly enough not to ruin the buzzing atmosphere."13TH MAY '07- OXFORD ZODIAC HEADLINE REVIEW!

""The three youngsters from Newbury set the fun filled tone for the evening early on with their crazy crowd antics during the earlier bands' sets! Following two other top quality bands, King Furnace and Templeton Pek, they did not dissappoint.Their songs are energetic and vigorous, and completely from the soul. Testing out new songs such as the openers, Admit It and Back to Basics, out on the eager audience went down a real treat. The pace and energy of the gig never wained.

Feed the Addiction invoke passion, that raw desire to leap about like lunatics, unleashing the beast within! It's wicked listening to a band that has found it’s calling rooted in the basic simplicity of punk rock. A band not trying to change the world, but instead trying to just be; and playing some good, loud music in the meantime. A band whose ambition is to write great songs, put on a good show, and let the night lead the way...

A big thumbs up to the band for quality music and a top night. Watch this space!!!""
