Rob, Baz, Bear, Chris and Joe formed Massai in the summer of 2005 and have worked hard to produce a metal sound with enough energy and musical diversity to throw any listening crowd into a adrenaline fuelled frenzy. One minute you will be listening to a cross between 1930s Jazz and reggae and then you will be moshing your socks off to 'Rage' strength riffs and heart thumping bass lines. United by a love for all things musical with influences that run right across the board from Pantara, Korn, and SOAD, to Steve Vai, Primus and louis Armstrong..(Bab Ba Do Babadee dooo) Since the introduction of Scratch DJ 'Diesel bug' in early 2007, Massai have taken their sound to yet another level. With the release of their new 'Ja Boom' E.P, Massai hope to tease the masses and give them a taste of what is yet to come. Massai are regularly playing up and down the country and are currently recording their debut album 'Set the Path' on their home turf in 'The Forest of Dean', due to be released at the end of the year.{} ..
