"Jenn of Barbados"Jennifer is about growing in every way.She is warm, concerned, broadly interested, heartfelt, intense,loving,a writer of poetry,loves singing,loves Jazz, believes in the notion of education for empowerment and overall positive human development and currently works as a full-time Career Counselor.Jennifer hopes to publish a book of poetry some time in the near future and maybe even a spoken word CD. She writes on a variety of topics and in addition to flowing in poetry, she writes reflective prose.Her favorite Jazz tune is Clifford Brown's Joyspring. This is so because of the sense of peace, beauty,lightness,joy and all things good which it conveys.

Music:

Jazz, Gospel, "World Music", Old School R and B and whatever is appealing. Favourites: Sarah Vaughn, Dianne Reeves, Clifford Brown, John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Arturo Sandoval and others. Dr. Lonnie Smith is beautiful to experience live and I am really enjoying some McCoy Tyner CDs. Recently have been listening to Eric Person and he's exciting. I am also loving those dear to my heart: Joe Byrd, Shane Forrester and David Carnegie of Extreme Measures. Shane's CD has been released and I am eagerly awaiting the two other releases. Words of congratulations go out to Eric Person with respect to his new release: Rhythm Edge!Would really like to meet Stevie Wonder.

I watch a variety of things. Currently there is no one program that I am committed to viewing all the time. Well, that's probably because I have access to only one channel. I don't think I need any more than that at the moment.

Books:

I like histories, biographies, spiritual, and wellnes-related books. I also enjoy medical thrillers - Tess Gerritsen, Robin Cook
