Playwrights Horizons

GREAT AMERICAN PLAYS. GREAT AMERICAN PLAYWRIGHTS.

About Me

In our 2008/2009 season, Playwrights Horizons continues its longstanding tradition of presenting thought-provoking, challenging new plays and musicals by some of the country's most acclaimed emerging and established dramatists. We've produced the work of over 375 writers in our history, bringing you productions like SAVED (A NEW MUSICAL), DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE, GREY GARDENS, and the Pulitzer Prize-winning I AM MY OWN WIFE, THE HEIDI CHRONICLES, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, and DRIVING MISS DAISY. It all happens under the roof of New York's hippest, state-of-the-art theater complex on Theatre Row, just steps away from Hell's Kitchen's best eateries, clubs, and nightlife!

Playwrights Horizons offers a variety of great deals for students and patrons aged 30 and under!
