Starting out in mid 2005, it has always been Caracal's hope to play what they play and if somehow are able to get a few other unsuspecting souls tapping their feet or grooving about then they have almost accomplished their things-to-do-before-we-die checklist. Caracal has never known just exactly what their sound should be or would be but eventually, the 'Caracal sound' was given birth to and further developed in the form of their first song When open inverted Commas close.
Sharing an incalculable (no really, we cant count) amount of passion and love for music, the boys of Caracal are driven by the desire to leave a positive impact on people willing to listen. To portray 2 sides of the same coin with an open mind in all honesty is the very essence powering the music. With lyrical inspirations deriving from their own experiences, both good and bad, Caracal pushes and fervently wishes to create a strong bond with their supporters and friends. To relate to any and everyone on a level plane and providing uncommon solutions for the common problem truly transcends their music - but that no doubt has remained and will remain the idea behind Caracal as a collective soul.
Always trying their best to put on an energetic show abiding by the Caracal 17th Commandment to Never ever, ever, EVER stay still, and attempting to lift the mood of the audience with their quirky, if any, sense of humor - Caracal just wants everyone to enjoy themselves and if people are willing to go the extra mile, to look beyond themselves and live life in a manner worth singing about. We often think we know which way the wind blows; but perhaps after listening to us, you might welcome change say goodbye to gravity and finally,
COME BACK TO EARTH.
