Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Model from BK New York :-) . I stepped onto the music scene in 1999 with my duet album I LOVE YOU ME... At the time I was signed to RCA records. The record never reached the mass audience due to lack of marketing and promotion. However my PR was AMAZING. I recieved so much love. I graced the cover of Time Out NY & Jet Magazine. I was also in Vogue, Essence, Rolling Stone, Billboard, The NY times, Honey, Vibe,Esquire and many more without bragging :-). Anyway I also performed on Soul Train and Motown Live along with Sheila E. I was sponsored by Polo Jeans and did a mini tour that went well. I also did a GAP campaign which lead to Huge billboards plastered all over 10 states and a GAP commercial that ran nationally for a few months.I toured a little bit overseas and got to open for Lauren Hill in Amsterdam. (WE MISS & LOVE YOU MISS HILL) . Despite all of the hoopla, hype and hard work... RCA failed to market and promote the record properly. In 2000-2001 I recorded a record called "Soul Parade". After the completion of the record RCA shut down their Black division and I was picked up by ARISTA Records still under the BMG system. Critics gave Soul Parade great reviews. I had many of my friends featured on Soul Parade such as OUTKAST, BILAL, JILL SCOTT, RASAAN PATTERSON, ANTHONY HAMILTON,FLOETRY and MUSIQ. The record never dropped but has been bootlegged all around the world. You're wondering where I been since then. Well...I took a long break from the industry to regroup and figure my next move. Now I feel like i have a better perspective on the Industry game so It's time to have fun and not take this thing so personal. I've revamped my sound and this time around i'm gonna do it my way. It's still soulful, but it's street and funky. Just what you'll have been waiting for and should expect from a BK girl! Live, Love, Laugh and learn from your past. EASY!
